  1. The ancient castle of Killeaney is supposed to be one of the places where money & valuables are hidden. They were supposed to have been hidden there by Arthur Vicar. The ground around it has been dug on several occasions. Some gold is supposed to have been found on one occasion.
A ghost is known to walk with people on certain occasions as they pass by the castle late at night. This ghost is supposed to be a guardian over the hidden treasure.
People also claim to have heard singing and seen lights in the castle.
