  1. Lady Cuff was buried in front of the hall door of her house now occupied by Mr. Phelan and known as "Cuffsborough House." All her gold was buried with her. After the funeral men went to look for the gold but they were digging and digging. In they end they met a big flag stone and they could go no further. They had to put back the clay again and no one ever got the gold. The grass that grows on her grave is brown in colour.
