1) People say, that if you are going on a journey, and if you meet a red-haired woman you should always turn back. They say that it is unlucky to go on your way.
(2) They say that it is either lucky or unlucky to meet magpies. It all depends on the number of them you meet, the saying is,
One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three to be married,
And four to die,
Five to be rich,
Six to be poor,
Seven to beg at the rich man's door.
(3) You will have seven years bad luck if you let a mirror fall and break it.
(4) You should never pass by a pin without picking it up. For it is said. See a pin and pick it up.
All that day you'll have good luck See a pin and let it lie
You'll want that pin before you die
