    HOW TO CURE A SORE LIP;
    1;It is said a sore lip can be cured by spitting on a flag when fasting and rubbing it on the sore lip three times in the name of the Father,Son and Holy Ghost. This is repeated for nine mornings.
    TO CURE A SORE THROAT;
    Pot aried salt tied in a stocking and applied to the throat,
    Laurel leaves sewn together around the throat also cured it.
    TO CURE RINGWORM;
    Black ink rubbed in ring worm cures it.
    TO CURE EZEMA;
    Lard and sulphus mixed together and rubbed on it cures it.
