    HOW TO CURE WILD FIRE;
    1; Wild fire is cured by the rust of an old spade mixed with the blood of a black cat.
    2; If a person is affected with wild fire it is said he will be cured if he licks a dark lucre.
    HOW TO CURE BURNS;
    1; Linseed oil mixed with lime water rubbed on a burn cures it.
    2; Two ounces of sheep suet and one ounce of bee's wax and the yolk of three eggs mixed together also cures it.
    HOW TO CURE A STYE;
    1; A stye is cured by prodding it three times with a gooseberry thorn for three mornings and saying in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost.
