is, there was a poem composed about Mr. La Touche's daughter. She was called "the millers daughter". This is the reason why he burnt the mill.
Beside the Liffey near the railway-bridge in Harristown there is the remains of a flour-mill.
There was a silk factory at "the Malt house" near Gormanstown about one hundred years ago.
La Touche thought that the Irish were too industrious and he got it closed down.
He took the doors off the factory and put them on his house at Harristown.
There was a barrack up in Anfield where the house is now. There was a monastery long ago in Anfield graveyard.
