  1. Long ago people used to go to the nearest town to sell eggs and other goods because there were'nt many shops near them. Sometimes money was'nt given but they used to work for what they were after getting.
    The would'nt transact business on a Sunday.
    Some of the places where markets were held were Old Kilcullen and Kilcullen and Dunlavin.
