    Cure of Murrain in cattle is effected by short prayer and the recital of 9 Paters and Aves.
    The sex colour and age of beast must be mentioned. Practised by Lizzie Connolly Fedoo and several others.
    John Gormley (Killyneil) has the cure of fersey in horses. The animal has to be taken to a gap and placed facing the wind, before treatment is given. This is done for three consecutive days.
