    We have many corn mills around this locality. The oldest of these are Dooskey and Ballinnacanty. Dooskey mill is not working now.
    There are many stories connected with Ballinnacanty. My grandfather told me about Ballinnacanty. The story was as follows.
    When England was going to be defeated a war would start in Ireland and a battle would be fought somewhere about Ballinnacanty and the mill wheel would be turned three times with blood. The men will that scarce that the people would surprized to
