  1. A Hidden Treasure
    Long ago there lived in Gowran a man named O Hara.
    This man dreamt three times in succession that there was a crock of gold hidden behind the Church.
    So next night himself and his two sons went to look for the gold.
    They brought with them a spade a shovel and a candle, and kept digging until they came to a flag, and here they found the crock of gold.
    Now the father said to his sons before we get the gold one of us will have to die. This man had another son named Lordy, who had a fierce hump, so he decided on letting Lordy die as he was of no use to anyone.
    He brought him down to lift up the gold thinking he would die a few nights after.
    But instead of Lordy dying
