    O'Shea who also lived in Ballylogue. He had such a hatred for him that he desired to murder him. The White Lady also urged him to commit the deed.
    Michael O'Shea frequently visited The Rower Village at night, and O'Hanley was aware of this. He planned to lie in some field and watch his enemy return from the Village. On a certain night he lay in wait and seeing O'Shea approach him he felled him from behind with a spade and killed him. He then returned to to the White House and left the murdered man by the roadside.
