    There are four people over seventy years of age. Mr and Mrs Murray, Mr Bolger and Mrs Clowney. No-one in my townland can speak Irish.
    Houses were much more numerous some years ago. than nowadays. In the ruins of some of these houses are to be seen. There are no ruins in my townland.
    Up to about ten years ago a great number of young people went to America and to other countries from my townland. These people emigrated, because the mills in Celbridge were closed down and some
