  1. Once there lived, near Sneem, a farmer called Charlis Burt.
    One day Charlis and six other men wars digging potatoes in a field near a fairy fort. They had a good quantity dug at dinner-time - more than they'd dig now. They went towards a ditch to eat their dinner. They had been vary long eating when they saw six woman wearing cloaks and hoods coming out of the fort. The woman commenced picking the potatoes into their aprons.
    The men wars terrified as they know thoroughly well those (woman) ware the daoine maithe.
    They let them alone and they continued picking the potatoes for about ten minutes or so. They never looked towards the man
