  1. There are five churchyards in this district namely Clara, Carrickroe, Ballyotion and Errigal. They are all in use, but one, and it is a very old one. Some of the graveyards are round in shape, and other are not.
    One of the churches in Errigal is very old. Nearly all churchyards in this district have trees round them. There is an old tomb in Bally-Otion and it bears the number 1798. In Bally-Otion graveyard there is a place behind for unbaptised children.
