Biddy Maglone of Fenagh was a great runner the people called her souple Biddy for a nickname. Big Jack Ross of Greyglass was a great mower he could mow two acres in a day. Old Mrs.Greenan was a great dancer and I heard Daddy saying that she could jump over a man dancing and she could play a good dancing tune on the tongs. James McEntee of Corcaghan was a good jumper he could jump six feet. There was great fires at Ballybay and there were a lot of houses burned and there were two fires at Graham of Cadah about twenty years ago. There was a great plague after the great war called the flu and a lot of people died with it.
