    One morning fair when Phoebus bright
    His radiant smile displayed,
    When Flora and her gentle Lords
    The fragrant fields arrayed
    As I did rove by wood and grove
    No care did me assail,
    A pair I spied by the river side
    In Dobbin's Flowery Vale.
