    And the shops are so flourishing they would attract the strangers eye.
    Then away past Lake View to the place where the factory stands,
    Where now we have our own boots made and are not depending on other lands.

    Before it is a lake and a plantation fair,
    And in all seasons of the year it is a beauty rare.
    This great town I mention, its equals are not many,
    It is known as the "Killarney of the North" the important town of Castleblaney.
