  1. There was a man called Joe Gibson, a grand uncle of a pupil in the school. He suffered terribly from tooth-ache. He went to a place called Cumry near Ballybay to a man called George Long. This man had a cure of the tooth-ache. He told Joe to go home and not to Clip his beard or shave on a Sunday He went home and did so; and never had tooth-ache any more.
