  1. 1) A person should not go or come from a wake by night alone

    7) If rain falls on the coffin during the funeral, it is said that the corpse is happy
    8) The funeral goes the longest way from the house to the graveyard
    9) When the funeral reaches the graveyard the coffin is shouldered all round the graveyard

    Marriages
    10) It is unlucky for a wedding to meet a funeral
    11) It is unlucky for a person to get married in a church where a corpse would be
