    5) if a child had the thrush to breathe into its mouth would cure it.
    6) If a person had a headache to rub cold water to their fore-head would ease the pain.
    7) If a person got a burn to heat it to the fire would ease the pain.
    8) To put a spoon of loaf sugar to four spoons of lemon juice and drink the mixture before going to bed would cure a sore throat.
    9) If a person had boils to heat soap and sugar and put it to the boil it would clear it away in two days.
