    A grand feast awaited them there of roast geese, mutton, beef and fancy cakes and also wine whiskey and portes in plenty.
    Then the fiddlers would tune up the fiddles and the dancing would begin and would continue all day and all night. After nightfall the straw boys would come in with masks on their faces and straw sugans (rope) around their waists and they would get the kitchen floor to dance.
