- (continued from previous page)was the only object found along with the bones.On the covering slab was a wavy band altogether three feet long by one inch wide forming three bold curves. The carving was evidently done by a sharp instrument. Both stone and halbert as well as the bones are now in the National Museum.In the farm of Mr. J. Mc.Gettrick a native of Moylough is a deep cave which the people in our fathers times often explored hoping to find treasures but failed. They discovered a small apartment and many passages.
