  1. I live in the townland of Rathglass, in the parish of Castleconnor, in the county of Sligo and in the barony of Tireragh. It is called Rathglass because there is a fort in it.
    There are about twelve houses in it. Some people have about twenty acres of land and more might have more than twenty.
    All the houses in it are nearly all new, but there are a few old ones yet.
    Rathglass was the old parish name of it, and the English put Green Fort on it. There was a landlord in this townland named John Boyde. He got it striped and he gave it to the
