    In former times in many places through Ireland people tried charms or witchcraft to take away their neighbours' butter on May morning before cock-crow.
    Those people went into their neighbours' fields where the cows used graze, and milk a little from each cow into a bottle, using some enchanting words, and the result was that those people when they churned their
