    had the cure for Ulcers also. The cure they had for Whooping Cough was if there was man with a white horse passing the road the mother would go out and say "Man of the while horse what would cure the Whooping cough," and the whatever he would say whether a drink of water or a drink of mild would be the cure. Another cure for it was to give a ferrist enough of milk and whatever he would leave after him to it to the child to drink. People of long ago used rub their tongue to a lizard and any person that was burned they would rub their tongues to the burn and it would never fester. People oftentimes put a frog between their teeth and made him yell so that he would not get a toothache. If people sprained the legs there was a weed growing called bumphy. They would get
