    The Leipreachan is a fairy. The people around here call him "The Luharagán".

    The Leipreachan is a fairy. The people around here call him "The Luharagán". He is a couple of inches in height. He lives in the woods under a toad-stool or under a dock-leaf. He wears a red pointed cap and a red jacket and a pair of shoes with the tops of them turned up. He sits up on a tree shoemaking and he has a small little hammer and he hammering away and he singing his little song.
    There was a man around our place named Mick Regan who said that one evening as he was walking along he spied
