  1. The Dandelion grows in our townland. Long ago the old Irish people used to cure sickness with it.
    One day a man named Patrick Enright, was coming from Tralee. He was attacked by dogs and they nearly killed him. He was so badly cut that when he landed home he had hardly any blood in his body.
    When they saw him so badly wounded they did not know what to do. They got every thing to stop the blood and every thing failed.
    At last an old beggar-man came to the door looking for alms. He saw the man and said "what cut your leg so he told him. Well said the beggar-man I will give you a cure for to stop it
