  1. I live in the townland of Ballyline about two miles from the village of Ballylongford. There is a fort not far from where I live in the lands of Mrs. Lavery.
    This fort is circular in shape and there is a fence of earth and stone all around it. There is an entrance hole into this fort. It was built by the Danes as a place of fortification.
    One year the owner of this fort cut hay in it and every night afterwards, that he passed the fort he saw a light in the
