    July this crop is sprayed with bluestone. The potatoes are dug out with a digger in Autumn. Many and varied are the names of the different kinds of potatoes. Epicures Kerry Champions. Ker-pinks. British Queens.
    Long ago the old people would go out with sugán rope and pull it along the stalks to knock off the frost before the sun rose.
