The second generation of every smith family has a cure of the "rickets" - which is a disease known among children. The smiths were always looked upon as very strong men.
Long ago all these forges were centres for storytelling. All the men gathered at night to storytell and talk over the events of the day. It was supposed to be very [wrong?] to lock a forge at night. Other people were supposed to come and work at night and have the use of the forge.
