    was said that they ran through Cloon one night, and stayed the night on a bed of stones. It was also said they ran through Mohill, but there is no trace of where they slept the night; but the place is yet to be seen in Cloon.
    Old Diarmaid had a thumb of wisdom, and any time he would suck the thumb he would know where the two people would be.
    One time Diarmaid and Grainne was staying a night by the strand, and they knew well
