    Low over the grass the swallows wing
    The cricket too, how she sings
    Puss' on the hearth with velvet paws
    Sits wiping over her whisker jaws
    Last night, the sun went pale to bed.
    The Moon in hallows hides her head
    Through the clear stream the fishes
    Rise and nimbly catch the cautroies flies
    At dusk a toad was seen,
    Hopping and crawling over the green."
