  1. We have a churn. It is two foot high and one foot long. It is made about three years. The utensils used in churning are, the butter dish, the patters, the dash, the lid and the juggler. In Summer, we churn twice a week. My mother does the churning and it takes her about a half an hour.
If a stranger comes in while the churning is going on, he does some of it.

  2. We have a churn. The height of it from top to bottom is 22 1/2 inches. The churn is made out of oak. The things used in churning are the dash and the cup. We churn twice in the week. My mother and my sister do the churning. If a stranger comes in he takes the churn for a while for fear he would bring the luck of the churning with him. It takes a half an hour to churn. The dash works up and down.
