Claremount and the rest were held in Corribdale.
When the people in Oughterard buy any animal they always give luck money.
They give shilling on a pig and a calf. They give 2/6 on a horse and a cow.
When the bargain is made the two people hit their hands together and they also spit in their hands.
When the animal is sold they always put a mark on them to show they are sold. The people put raddle and tar on the animal. They put raddle on a sheep and tar in the other animals.
