    Before the wintry days set in every farmer draws home the turf from the bogs, so that they will have a good warm fire for the winter nights.
    People bring home the turf from the mountain bog on ass and creel, and with an ass and cart, while the turf from the lowland bog is drawn home on horse-carts.
    It is very difficult to convey turf from the mountain bog on horse-carts because the way is usually wet and rough
