  1. A long time ago there was a man (who used to be out late at night) playing cards.
He was often advised to stop playing cards because he was at them the whole time.
He went to a man's house playing cards one night and he stayed for a long time.
On his way home he met a man who asked him to play cards and the man said he would.
The other man put down a table before him and he left a light also on the table.
The two men started to play. When they were playing for a long time a card happened to fall.
The man that was coming home stooped down to pick up the card. He saw a cloven foot under the table.
He knew that it was the devil was in it. He said it was time he left for home. It taught him a lesson not to stay out late at night any more.
