    Ten Gooseberry thorns are plucked from the bush- but- the last one must be thrown away. The remaining nine are pointed to the eye three times while the following words are being said:- In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. This means 27 times entirely.
    This cure can be made on any day, provided it is done before sunset.
