    County Leitrim.
    People visit it regularly for it is said that it is able to cure sick cattle. It is on a small hole in the ground and anyone who visits it must bring a can of water with them. They throw the water into the well in order the bless it. They bring the full of a bottle home with them in case that any cattle get sick.
    They well is surrounded by a number of hawthorne bushes. It is not known locally who Marshall was or why the well got that name. There is no person bearing that name in the district at the present or during the memory of the
