  1. The seventh son of a family was said to be a doctor. He could cure the ringworm.
    If a person had a wart on his finger the cure for it was, when he would get a stone with a hole full of water in it, to rub the wart three times with the water.
    If a person's right eye was itchy it was the sign that he was going to cry.
    If his left eye was itchy it was a sign that he was to laugh.
    Iron was said to be lucky. When hatching eggs iron was put in the nest along with them.
