  1. There is a holy well in Castle Bellew which is in the parish of Moylough, the barony of Tyaquinn, and the County Galway. It is dedicated to St . Cloran who was the sister of St. Bernard. The well is on the arm of a tree through it is said that at one time it was beneath the tree but a woman is said to have washed stockings in it and after that it changed up to the arm of the tree. People go there and perform stations at
