  1. There is a Mass Rock in Carbally and it is said that mass used to be said there in the Penal Days. It is about three miles from Kilrickle .
    It is said that the Bishop of Clonfert lived in Ballylog bog and the spot is called the Bishops Chair. There were sacred vessels found there one time. The priest that was in Killoran at that time took the sacred vessels.
