    Why is a cook like a barber?
    Because he dresses hair (hare).
    Why is Chancery Lane like your eye?
    Because it is near the Temple.
    When is a man over head and ears in debt?
    When he has a hat on that is not paid for.
    Why is a beggar like a baker?
    Because he needs (kneads) his bread.
    When does a man resemble a wheel?
    When he is tired.
    Why is a pig like the letter N?
    Both makes a sty nasty.
    Which side of the jug is the handle?
    The outside.
