  1. Long, long ago there was an old man living near a wood so my mother told me. Every day he used go hunting in the wood. One day while he was following a rabbit he fell and injured his eyes so badly that ever afterwards he was blind.
    That night he had a vision. He saw an angle holding a strip of paper and written on it were . "Go to Corker and you will get your reward". He got up at once and journeyed towards Corker as he was coming near the well be heard two birds fighting and he went towards them. He had not gone far however when he slipped into the well and the water dashing upon his eyes he was cured.
