  1. About a half mile to the west of my village where stands and old ruin or castle burial on the Dunmachrenia bride chichis known locally as the brig home of Dunmachrenia.
    It was build there by the Blakes many years ago when they owned the land round about it.
    It was destroyed and broken up by Cromiff and his soldiers as all the towers and cables throughout Ireland at the time.
    It now remains roofless and scattered standing there.
    The neighboring farmers store their surplus grains an corn in it for the winter, while other put hay in, for their grazing cattle that are grazing in the land round the building.
    There is supposed to be crocked gold and priceless
