    Sit down sit down young friend
    It would make your flesh to creep today
    And your hair to stand on end

    Young man it is hard to strive with sin
    But the hardest strife of a
    To where the greed again creeps in
    And drives God's grace "awa".

    It's quick to do but it hang to rue
    When the punishment comes at last
    But we would "gie" the world to do
    The died that are done and past.
