    When the people saw him they were sorry they showed the gun.
    There is a poem written about the shooting of Lord Leitrim. A few lines of it are:-
    "In 78 I mind that date,
    In the spring time of the year."
    This is all I know except the last two lines.
    "In Cratlagh wood they spilt his blood,
    In the hills of Donegal."
    Lord Leitrim was burried in Dublin.
