  1. Around the Christmas time some people dress up in old clothes and go round the houses and gather money by acting. There are about seven or eight all together.
These are some of the rhymes:-

    (1st)
Room, Room for the gallant boys,
    Give us room to rhyme,
We will show you some activity about the Christmas time,
We were young that acted upon the stage
And if you don't believe me,
I'll call in Gillespie and he will clear the way.

    (2nd)
    Here comes I Gillespie,
    Gillespie is my name
And with my sword and pistol
I'm sure to win the game.

    (3rd)
The Game Sir, the Game Sir,
It is not in your power,
I'll cut you down in inches
In less than half an hour,
For my body is made of iron
And my head is made of steel,
And with my sword and pistol,
I'll slay you on the field,
Murder, murder what have I done,
    Killed my sisters only son,
