  1. Fairs.
    Our local fairs are held at
    Creeslough on the tenth of each
    month. Milford fair is held on
    the 23rd of each month. Dunfanaghy
    on the 18th. Falcarragh on the last Thursday of each month. These
    are the four principal fairs that
    people do business at. All kinds
    of beasts are sold at these fairs.
    There are also stalls, from which
    are sold boots, clothes, delph,
    hardware and cutlery. Games of
    chance and shooting-gallery and
    a great many other games are
    played at the fairs. It is very
    interesting to watch the buyers
    buying the cattle. They open their
    mouthes the animals mouth and
    look at the teeth to see what age
    it is and then they ask the seller
