   This cure was told to me by my mother on the second of October She said the name of the person who gave the cure was Miss Maggie Ashe Convoy because her father and mother were of the same name before marriage she said for this reason she could give the cure. She said she made butter and put it between two biscuits and then give it to the sufferer to eat in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost for three consecutive days.

   This cure was told by my mother on the 1st of November. 37

   To cure the Whooping Cough the sufferer must crawl between a donkys fore-legs and hind legs, then climb over its back. This is done for three successive times on the same day. Then oat meal is given to the donkey to eat
