  1. This was told to me by my father. Five short sticks are placed on a level road. and then the person that is playing gets three longer sticks and he throws them at the others at a distance of twenty yards. If he knocks down the centre one he is ten then. as the outside ones count five if he knocks out all the sticks he is then thirty then his opponent throws and they continue in this manner until one of them reaches a hundred he is the winner. This game is played in the summer time.
